Story

Ancient Paper

It all began in 2021, in the wake of the pandemic, when we transformed our home into a unique underground dining experience: Maíz Cocina de Origen. Driven by a deep passion for Mexican culinary heritage, Maíz became more than just a place to eat — it was a gathering space where stories, flavors, and traditions came together at the table.

For three unforgettable years, Maíz was our labor of love. It allowed us to explore, honor, and reinterpret the roots of our cuisine in an intimate setting. In November 2024, that chapter ended — yet from its ashes, a new beginning arose.

Na’i emerged as the next evolution of our journey. Inspired by the Rarámuri (Tarahumara) people of northern Mexico, Na’i means fire — a powerful symbol of transformation, warmth, and rebirth. It reflects our ongoing commitment to ancestral wisdom, cultural identity, and the ever-burning passion that drives everything we cook and create.

Na’i is not just a name. It’s our spirit.
